A Message From Our Founder

I'm Jack "Doc" Bodolosky, founder of Warrior Companion. I've served as a U.S. Army combat medic, and I've spent more than three decades in veterinary care. I started this nonprofit for one simple reason: I've seen too many disabled veterans and first responders forced to choose between their own stability and the health of the service animal that helps them survive day to day.

For many families, the hardest part isn't loving their service animal-it's affording the ongoing care. Wellness visits. Medications. Emergency treatment. Those costs don't pause when life gets tough, and too often there's no safety net.

Warrior Companion exists to close that gap. We provide pet health care assistance for the service animals of disabled veterans and first responders, because protecting the animal protects the person.

If our mission speaks to you, I'd be honored to have you stand with us. Your support helps keep these service animals healthy, working, and by their handler's side when they're needed most.

With gratitude,

Jack "Doc" Bodolosky

A photograph of a smiling middle-aged man in a red polo shirt holding a black dog on a metal examination table inside a veterinary clinic. To the left, a large poster from 'The Animal Hospital of Sullivan County' outlines 'Pillars of Health Maintenance'. The man's shirt has a 'Warrior Companion' logo. The background features tan walls with dark green trim and another framed document. The mood is warm, caring, and professional.
A close-up, eye-level shot of a Jack Russell Terrier lying on a brown doormat inside a home. The dog is brown and white with expressive dark eyes and is holding a coiled brown leather leash in its mouth, looking directly at the camera with an expectant expression. The setting features a polished wooden parquet floor and a white paneled door in the background. The mood is charming and patient, emphasizing the bond between a pet and its owner.

Standing by our community, our veterans, and our animal companions.
